The kit

Eight objects.
Chosen with care.

Every object in the kit was picked for one reason: it can become something else. The magnifier is a detective’s lens, a treasure hunter’s tool, a wizard’s scrying glass. A token is evidence one night, gold the next, a rune the week after. The kit doesn’t change. The story does.

No. 01

Brass magnifier

Solid brass · hand-set lens · turned wood handle

The first tool of every detective who ever lived. A magnifier doesn’t just show you things bigger — it tells your child that what they’re looking at is worth looking at carefully. Tonight it inspects fingerprints on the kitchen counter. Tomorrow it identifies a strange leaf in the backyard. Next week it reads the inscription on a wizard’s ring.

No. 02

Adventure log

Leather-bound · 80 unlined pages · leather closure

A real notebook with real paper, made to be filled with sketches, theories, maps, and notes from every adventure. The log is where the child becomes the storyteller. Years from now, this becomes the artifact that proves what they imagined.

No. 03

Wooden tokens (set of 24)

Hand-burned beech · in a linen pouch

Twenty-four small wooden disks with simple symbols burned into them: a star, an eye, an anchor, a tree, a key, a moon. The AI assigns meaning to each token differently every adventure. They’re evidence in a mystery, gold in a treasure hunt, runes in a magic spell, footprints in a chase.

No. 04

Brass compass

Working compass · brass case · leather strap

A real working compass, not a toy. North is north. Every adventure can use it: as a navigator on a treasure hunt, as a clue (the compass spins wildly when the child is near the magic stone), as a way to send your child to a specific room. The honest object grounds the imagined story.

No. 05

Cipher wheel

Letterpressed cardstock · two-disc decoder

A working substitution-cipher decoder. The story engine generates a coded message; the child uses the wheel to crack it. The first time a child realizes they can read a secret message they couldn’t read a minute ago is one of the best feelings in childhood. We built the kit around that moment.

No. 06

Lantern Cards

Set of 36 illustrated cards · letterpressed

Thirty-six beautifully drawn cards — characters, locations, objects, creatures. The AI tells the child to draw a card at a key moment in the adventure, and the card becomes part of the story. The same card means different things in different worlds. The drawn fox is a witness in a mystery, a guide in a forest, a thief in a fairy tale.

No. 07

Brass key

Solid brass · skeleton key · weighted

A heavy, satisfying key that opens nothing in the real world and opens everything in the imagined one. It’s the key to the locked diary in the spy adventure. The key to the dragon’s vault. The key the child finds buried under the pillow in the time-travel story. Every adventure needs a key.

No. 08

Aged scroll

Hand-aged paper · rolled in linen

A blank piece of beautifully aged paper for maps, ransom notes, treasure plans, and prophecies. The parent draws the map; the child reads it. Or the child draws the map and the next adventure starts with their own creation.

And the box itself

Solid maple. Engraved. Hinged.

The kit lives in a real wooden box, not a plastic tray. Engraved with our mark on the lid. Built to sit on a shelf and be opened slowly, like a book of spells. Built to last long enough that your child’s child might open it one day.
